General conditions

Each purchase of our hand-woven baskets empowers women and helps to alleviate poverty in rural Africa through sustainable and scalable job creation. All products are made by hand with love and vary slightly in color and size making each item unique - no two are the same. We value craftsmanship and natural materials and therefore don’t see these variances as imperfections, but believe this adds to the beauty and charm of our products.

We do our best to make sure that our website has the best product and impression photos, to show the right colours and bringing its size into perspective. All dimensions and specifications are mentioned under the product information. If you have any questions or queries, please send us a message or give us a call to  assist you further. 

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Local delivery
Free local delivery is available for orders over 400 AED within Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah City limits. For orders under 400 AED, we charge 50 AED for local delivery.

DELIVERY IN DUBAI
Standard delivery is AED50 and takes 3 - 5 days. 
Shipping is free if your shopping cart is AED400 and above.

DELIVERY IN ABU DHABI & SHARJAH CITY LIMITS
Standard delivery is AED100 and takes 3 - 5 days. 
Shipping is free if your shopping cart is AED400 and above.

Shipping into UAE
Items marked as "Pre-Order" have the delivery information stated in the description of the product. Please read this carefully, and reconfirm this information before placing your order.
Some products may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. Each product may have specific shipping lead times depending on the country of origin. Orders with multiple items may have different arrival dates.

Deliveries are made from our Dubai storage facility


Monday to Friday from 9am - 5 pm


Sunday: Closed

All orders are delivered during business days. Business days do not include weekends and national UAE holidays. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will not be processed until the following business day.

Orders placed after 4 PM UAE time will not be processed until the following business day.

International Shipping
International Shipping is available and can be quoted upon receiving the list of items you wish to purchase. please email lety@sikainteriors.com with your shopping list so we can provide you with rates and shipping options depending on your location. we can co-ordinate air freight, sea freight and custom orders.

All international orders may be subject to import taxes and duties which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. SIKA Interiors is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. These fees are charged by your respective government and are entirely separate from any shipping fees.
**Please note, packages can be delayed by customs, which unfortunately is out of our control. This is a rare occasion, but it can happen. **

Checking Order Status
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 
If you haven’t received your UAE local order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at lety@sikainteriors.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and all your items may not be available at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will contact you about whether you would prefer to wait for the item to come back in stock or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges. We make exceptional efforts to cut down environmental costs associated with transport and re-stocking, relabeling. We encourage our customers to read the detailed product descriptions, or call or email for more information prior to purchase if they have any doubts about the product. Efforts are made to ensure you get an accurate picture and description of the products, and thorough quality checks are done before each item is packaged and shipped.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us within 24 hours of delivery at lety@sikainteriors.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will always try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
